When I saw Kate’s Boho Romper pattern back in 2016 I decided I was going to make one if I ever had a daughter. So when we found out last December that we were in fact going to have a daughter I immediately added this pattern to my To Sew list! I absolutely loved the gray/purple version, so I had to make that exact version. Who can pass up the opportunity to use Liberty fabric, right?!
I purchased one yard of the Liberty fabric and from that cut I was able to get three rompers — one newborn size and two 0-3 month sizes. These were easy to sew up assembly line style. In the future, I’d make the straps a little narrower as they end up being a little bulky for my preference.
There’s not much else to say in regards to the pattern itself as it’s a clear and simple pattern to follow. This is a great pattern to use for a baby shower gift!
Our sweet friends, Brad and Nancy took newborn pictures for us and I obviously had to dress Reagan in Lara Handmade! Now I may be partial, but look at how precious she looks in the romper. We’re so thankful for such great and talented friends to be able to share these moments with!
They found the best lighting in our house to take the pictures and were so patient with us when Reagan decided she needed food NOW. Newborns, amirite?
I absolutely LOVE looking at these pictures. I can’t believe how teeny Reagan was and how big she has gotten in just a couple of months!
